This is the quilt Sunday in the book Material Obession 2 More Modern Quilts with Traditional Roots by Kathy Doughty and Sarah Fielke. It's a BIG quilt. I used up all of my stash of certain colors so one of the points on the star has slightly different colors than everything else. It was pretty easy to do, their directions are great. I stitched in the ditch in the stars and did a basic stippling in the black areas and left the pink and blue areas unquilted in the side stars. My husband likes it because it covers the bed completely. The colors aren't my favorite but I was trying to use up my stash of fabrics. As it turns out I didn't have to buy any fabric for this quilt.
