Here's a quilt I made from the book Material Obsession 2 More Modern Quilts with Traditional Roots by Kathy Doughty and Sarah Fielke. It's the quilt on the cover of the book. I looked everywhere for dark grey material and finally found this but there wasn't enough to make the full quilt with the appliques like in the book. So it's everything in the middle of the quilt pictured on the book. My daughter immediately confiscated it for her bed. There is only one block that I had turned around so I'm pretty happy about that. I made the circles using my Baby Go die cut machine. It's a great tool and definitely worth the investment if you do a lot of sewing.
