I made these flowers as center pieces for the kid's school auction on Feb.6, 2012. I found the pattern through www.marthastewart.com. She has a tutorial on how to make them. The lady who does these uses watercolors to paint hers. They are absolutely beautiful and realistic looking. I didn't have the talent to do that and I thought they were pretty in the white. Each one takes about 30 minutes total to do and they are very labor intensive but they turn out really nice. I made over 100 of them and they are now on my mantel at home. These are not the containers they were in at the auction. These were a project that went wrong and I decided they looked nice to put the flowers in.
