This is my first project for the new year. This is the Sierra Bag from the book, "The New Tunisian Crochet," by Dora Ohrestein. I made my version with just one color yarn and I made the top straight across instead of with a dip in the middle. I lined it with a grey cotton from my stash. It's very roomy, which is what I wanted as I intend to take this to classes with me. I made the handle extra long so it could go across my shoulders as this is a big bag. It measures 15"x17" so it can hold a lot. I really like Tunisian crochet. It's very different but I really like how the stitches look.
