Sewing for Boys: Luka Hoodies
These are two Luka Hoodies from the book "Sewing for Boys," by Shelly Figueroa and Karen LePage. I used cotton material from my stash. These are a size 4/5. For my little one, I found that they are more rectangular, they fit him a little wide and short. The sleeves are long and meant to be rolled up, so they are great for when he grows into them. I actually made these in the fall of 2013 when he was 3 and he's been able to get a good 2 years out of them. He should still be able to wear them this spring but they will start to be on the short side. He really likes the hidden pocket and that he can wear the hood.
